Privacy notice.

Effective October 15, 2026. This notice explains how Evangelos Waters, trading as ShelfSignal, handles service requests, product-level inventory data and support enquiries.

What the software collects

The request form stores your name, business email, store URL, SKU count, selected service, notes, source label and your acceptance of the service terms. We use this to respond to your request, assess fit and provide the agreed service. We do not enroll you in marketing emails. Do not include consumer records or other people’s personal information in your notes or inventory CSV.

The free stock check processes CSV files in your browser without uploading their contents. A paid report is uploaded by the operator after private transfer and stored for delivery. Reports should contain product data only. The site records daily aggregate events without advertising cookies or visitor identifiers. Abuse controls temporarily store a hashed IP-and-hour value and request count for approximately one hour.

Payment and access

Stripe hosts checkout. We do not receive card details; we store payment references and order state. The private review key is kept in this browser tab’s session storage and sent to our server for access checks. Server-side access keys are stored as hashes. Anyone with your private link can view the delivered report until expiry or revocation.

Retention and requests

The operational retention target is 90 days for prospect requests and working reports, with financial records retained separately as legally required. Automatic data deletion is not configured: the operator performs a monthly retention review. You can request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of marketing consent using the published support contact. We use request and report data to take steps at your request and perform the agreed service, and security records to protect the service from abuse. We retain financial records where required. Contact us for access, correction, deletion or an objection; we may need to verify that you control the email on the order. Where applicable, you may also complain to your data protection authority.

Providers and international processing

Cloudflare hosts the website, request database and delivered reports. Stripe processes payments. Gmail handles support and agreed product-only CSV transfers. These providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Provider privacy information is available from Cloudflare, Stripe and Google. The free tool does not upload your CSV. No customer data is sent to an AI service by this application. We do not sell personal information or use advertising cookies.
